The Sensory Statistician role is an ideal for an experience statistician from the health care industry, looking to move into a new and challenging position
As the Sensory Statistician you will be developing the statistical and analytical capability of ‘cutting edge’ sensory programmes in the industry. You will also provide consultancy for scientists in other functions departments and advise data analysis. You will work along side the head of sensory, advising on the best practices and how to implement the effectively and efficiently, including translating business needs into implemented programmes. In addition as the sensory statistician, you will be expected to operate independently with minimal supervision and develop new approaches to increase the productivity of the departmental output.
Successful candidates should have a Bsc in Statistics or related discipline. Ideally you should have 4 years experience in a fragrance/flavour company, Clinical Research organisation or Pharmaceutical company. You should have a sound knowledge of SAS and an ability to work independently. In addition candidates should have excellent communication and organisation skill.
