A forthcoming Global Pharmaceutical company is currently recruiting for a Global Head of Clinical Data Management, to set up and lead the clinical data management department in their Oxford office. This is an ideal role for an experienced Senior Clinical Data Manager looking to progress their career to the next level and join a rapidly expanding Pharmaceutical Company.
As the Global Head of Clinical Data Management you will be responsible for the entire clinical data management department, supersizing all data generation, storage and mining for global clinical projects. You will be expected to be able to communicate on a variety of different levels as you will be liaising with the President of Clinical R&D, the statistics department and the head of information technology. Your main duties as the Global Head of Clinical Data Management will be to create the Clinical Data Management infrastructure for clinical operations; you will coordinate with the statistician for data transition, recovery and analysis and create standard and ad-hoc reports of timely addressing queries from Clinical and R&D teams when necessary.
Successful candidates should have a Bsc in a life science or related discipline. Ideally five years experience within a Clinical Research Organisation or Pharmaceutical company is required. Candidates should have experience in a range of data management and operations activities, supporting clinical trials. Experience using safety databases is an advantage.
