Clinical Research: Statistical/SAS Programmer– Berkshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced statistical/SAS programmer.

A leading Global clinical research organisation is currently seeking a statistical programmer analyst, to join their team in the Berkshire office. This innovative company operates in over 20 countries world wide and is dedicated to the development of all its employees, making this a fantastic opportunity for a statistical programmer looking for career progression.

As the statistical programmer your role will involve studying and developing SAS programs for clinical trial data, creating derived datasets and statistical analysis of data as specified in the statistical of report analysis plans. You will review CRF’s, annotated CRF’s, database structures and study related documents, along with developing SAS programs for ad hoc tables and listings.

Successful candidates should have a BSc in statistics or related discipline. Ideally two years experience in a clinical research organisation of pharmaceutical company. A sound knowledge of SAS and ICH- GCP is essential. Previous project management experience is an advantage.

In addition, you should have an ability to communicate on a variety of different levels , as you will be expected to liaise with project team members in related departments; Clinical Data Management, Clinical and Biostatistics. Depending on experience, you will also be expected to prepare and review programming plans, there is also the opportunity to progress into the lead statistical programmer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a statistical programmer wishing to progress into a more senior role, within an international company.
