A leading software house within the music industry have a number of opportunities for extremely talented and highly intellectual Java software engineers to join their established team based in Oxford where your main role will be to assist with building the main body of their state of the art up and coming website.
They are in the middle of creating a large new web application so it is a very exciting time to join as you will be involved in the whole process from the design and development through to the maintenance of core software components.
You must ensure that all code that is produced is of the highest quality and is secure and you will maintain instrumentation and unit tests for all of the work that you produce.
Skills
The selected candidates must have a very strong academic background from a top university and will have expert OO design and programming skills.
Knowledge of the following skills are also vital to the role, Java, Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Postgres and Linux.
A detailed knowledge of one or more web application servers would be advantageous though not essential.
