Javascript VB.NET C++ Cambridge Software Developer. A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Javascript/VB.NET software developer to join a market leading software house in Cambridge.
Working alongside a 1st Class team of web/software developers you will focus your efforts on the development of the company websites and web services which allow mathematical queries and operations to be carried out by customers against a central database of information.
You will be responsible for the design and development of all the company’s web tools, ranging from corporate intranet implementations through to the sites maintained on the servers. Development work spans all tiers of the application, from SQL database design, through VB/C++ middleware, onto XML/XSL for interface. The successful candidate will help provide robust, highly optimised, and scalable solutions to suit client business needs.
The Ideal candidate would be an excellent JavaScript developer with proven commercial experience on variety of different development projects. You will have a background in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics with at least 12 months commercial experience using Javascript, VB.NET and SQL. (C++ programming experience will be extremely desirable) Experience with the following technical skills would be highly advantageous: C++,VB, XML/XSL, Windows.
