Software Tester Java Oxford
Oxford based Software house are looking for high calibre software testers looking to take the next step in their career. My client is a well-funded, relaxed startup software house developing new cutting edge web applications for the entertainment industry. Working alongside a first rate software development team, you will be working on a mix of functional and whitebox testing. You will be expected to get stuck in, writing bits of code and developing automation frameworks as well as manually exercising the UI.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be working on the development of automated test systems, executing manual and automated tests and logging and reporting test results. Your key role will be to concentrate on devising and generating test cases and test scripts focusing especially on finding and exploring areas of weakness in the system.
The ideal candidate will have a solid academic background in computer science or relevant discipline. You will have experience of product testing and test automation with Java development experience. It is essential you have knowledge of the construction and testing of web based system with a background in at least one scripting language. Experience with Sysadmin is highly advantageous.
