Market Research Telephone Unit Manager - London
Reporting to the Field and Telephone Director, a Market Research Field and Telephone Manager is sought by a full service domestic and international healthcare research company.
This role requires a friendly, confident and bright professional to undertake the day to day running of the market research telephone unit, ensuring telephone projects are carried out to a high standard required by the company and making certain a high degree of confidence in the Unit is maintained.
With 30 stations and 3 supervisors, the Unit undertakes CATI and PAPI research (both quantitative and qualitative), focusing on medical professionals.
Key responsibilities will include;
-Organise scheduling of work, and weekly/monthly meetings with team and managers
-Liaise regularly with internal and external clients
-Maintain interviewer base in all relevant international languages
-Business generation
-Develop supervisory team
-Line management of telephone room supervisors and take responsibility of day to day management with support of line manager
-Recruitment, staff development and performance reviews
-Management of researchers seconded to the Unit
-Project management
-Budget control
-Ensure Unit has a positive relationship with Researchers.
With a proven track record of Telephone Unit Management, suitable candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of managing teams (motivation, coaching delegation etc). You should be able to demonstrate experience of third party filedwork only data collection, have a high level of understanding of market research codes of conduct and be computer literate.
A team player with plenty of initiative, your flexible approach to work, high level of attention to detail and of course excellent telephone manner will all be skills that will enable you to do this job well.
Your diligence, hard work and flexible approach in terms of both workload and hours, will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package. You can expect five weeks holiday which increases by one day per year after the first complete holiday year, to a maximum of six weeks, plus statutory holidays, Annual company and performance related bonus, season ticket loan and general working hour of 9am till 5.30pm (workload depending!).
