A specialised healthcare communications agency has an amazing opportunity for a Medical Writer to join their expanding company based in Oxford. Established in the early nineties, the company specialises in providing details and up to the minute feature forums across a variety of therapy areas including oncology and neurology.
As a Medical Writer you will work as part of the Pharmaceutical sales and marketing team maintaining one of the most active medical websites in the UK. This will involve researching and producing news features and presentations to update the site on a daily basis. You will also travel abroad for conferences and be responsible for succinctly writing the highlights from these meetings.
Suitable candidates will ideally have at least 2 years Medical Writing experience gained within a Medical Communications Agency along with copy and proof editing skills. You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to tailor your writing capabilities to a variety of audiences. A degree in a life science would be a distinct advantage along with any online marketing experience.
