Senior / Principle Medical Writer Medical Communications WORK FROM HOME

A well reputed Healthcare communications agency in the UK requires a creative Medical Writer to join their first class team. The company specialises in delivering high profile public and professional relations campaigns, medical education, advertising, disease awareness campaigns and market research to a solid portfolio of pharmaceutical clients.

You will be responsible for writing specific projects such as outlines, manuscripts, abstracts, slide presentations, posters, newsletters, independent papers, articles, business cases, etc within the constraints of the brief at a high level of written and technical accuracy. This will include internet-based research, reading any supplied background materials, journal articles, study reports, etc and preparing drafts of graphics (tables, hand-drawn figures, charts) for inclusion in projects. The position will also require you to provide regular updates of active medical writing projects to Head of Science Writing and liaise directly with clients and internal design teams.

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working successfully within a similar environment. A Healthcare or Life sciences degree is absolutely essential. Several years working as a Medical Writer within Medical communications is essential. You will be highly competent in providing first class medical copy and have excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
