This company has been established for nearly 35 years and specialises in developing and manufacturing oncology equipment within the healthcare industry. Due to recent expansion, they now have a fantastic opportunity available for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team on a 9 months fixed term contract in West Sussex.

As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the UK supplier base to ensure world class output with regard to cost, quality and delivery according to the purchasing strategy. This role will be 50% site based and 50% global travel to visit suppliers and develop the supplier base globally. You will also be involved in auditing and investigating non conformances.

The suitable candidate will ideally be educated to a Degree Level (or equivalent) within an Engineering discipline. A strong Supplier Engineering background within the medical devices industry is essential for this role. You will be a qualified lead auditor and have worked to ISO 13485 standards. Experience of working with capital equipment is highly desirable but not essential for this role.
