The successful candidate will have an exceptional academic history, with strong programming skills and experience analysing NGS data. The ideal Bioinformatics Analyst will have:
*A strong academic background with an MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science or a related discipline
*Demonstrable programming ability, proficient in Python or Perl with the addition of one of the following: R, Java, C, C++, Ruby
*Experience using tools to manipulate NGS data
*Knowledge of variant interpretation is highly desirable
As part of the Bioinformatics team, you can expect to:
*Be responsible for the creation and development of NGS pipelines capable of operating at a large scale
*Implementing software tools and writing novel software
*Perform high quality analysis of customer data
